Pure Executive signs up to the Voluntary Code of Conduct for Executive Search Firms
Pure Executive has signed up to the Voluntary Code of Conduct for Executive Search Firms, demonstrating its support for improving boardroom diversity and elevating ethical standards.
Lynn Walters, Co-Founder of Pure Executive, explains: “The Voluntary Code of Conduct sets the standard for improving diversity in board appointments, ensuring that executive search firms actively promote inclusive leadership across all sectors. As firm believers that diverse leadership teams are essential for boards to be effective and successful, we are proud to align ourselves with the Code’s best practices. The whole team is thrilled that our application to follow the voluntary code has been accepted.”
Lynn continued: “At Pure Executive, we are dedicated to following the Code’s provisions in board and senior executive search processes – from accepting a brief through to induction – and assisting our clients in taking the necessary steps to enhance the diversity on their boards, in both executive and non-executive roles.”
Jodie Woodrow, Director, added: “We are fully committed to finding the very best candidate for the role. Over the years, we have built a reputation for our dedication to inclusivity, actively seeking out candidates from diverse backgrounds to ensure that our clients appoint the very best talent, irrespective of their background or any societal barriers.”
In line with Pure Executive’s ongoing commitment to promoting diverse leadership, the team recently published a pioneering report, An Insight into Non-Executive Director Appointments Across the Eastern Region. The report, available for download on the website, provides key insights into the evolving landscape of board appointments and supports wider efforts to promote diverse leadership across the Eastern Region.
Additionally, Pure Executive has long championed gender diversity on corporate boards through initiatives such as the Women Leadership Programme, which has inspired over 120 ambitious female leaders. To celebrate a decade of championing women in business, a gala dinner will take place on Thursday, 14 November - tickets and further details are available on the website.
