Pure Executive are delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with Atik Cameras to appoint an exceptional New Business Manager/Director. 
Established over 15 years ago by Steve Chambers, CEO and Rui Tripa, Production Manager, Atik Cameras are a specialist designer and manufacturer of advanced imagery cameras. Acquired in 2014, they are the largest wholly owned subsidiary of AIM listed SDI Group plc, who continue to grow year on year.  
You will be joining the company at a very exciting time. Long-term market drivers such as the global expansion of automation and inprocess measurements, as well as medical and pharmaceutical research, means many of Atik’s technologies and services will be increasingly required especially by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with which the wider SDI Group companies have long-term supply contracts.   
We believe this presents a huge opportunity for the New Business Manager/Director to explore and capitalise on. Through the adoption of a targeted and proactive approach to winning new business, we have conservative expectations that £1m of new business revenue could be achieved within the first 12 months. 
Atik are seeking an experienced, ambitious and innovative individual to join as a key member of the leadership team with full responsibility for new business, both in terms of strategy and execution. The role can be based anywhere in the UK, on the understanding that 2-3 days per month as a minimum is spent with the wider team at the Head Office on the outskirts of Norwich. As world markets continue to relax Covid-19 travel restrictions it is expected that regular international travel will be a significant element of this role and key to establishing successful business relationships.  
Imperative to our search will be experience and knowledge of the photonics / machine vision sector, blended commercialism with technical understanding of products and services, a proven track record of winning new profitable business within global markets, effective stakeholder management skills and an alignment to the Atik culture of quality, innovation, trust and collaboration.
