We are working with a local care charity to find locally based applicants with a background in finance/accountancy to take up the voluntary post of finance trustee.
The time requirement and flexibility needed would favour part-time, semi-retired, or fully retired individuals and candidates should also be capable of coordinating, administering, and chairing meetings effectively.
We are looking for individuals who are calm and methodical, solutions-focused with strategic thinking, being able to build a strong working relationship with the Director of Finance and Resources in order to monitor the charity’s financial health. You will be adept at reviewing financial reports including cash flow, income streams, and strategic financial management, and reporting your insights to the Board.
The time commitment for this pro-bono role will range from 8-12 hours per month and will be a combination of meeting preparation (document review and report writing) and stakeholder meetings (online and in person).
If you are looking for the opportunity to put back into your local community and an empathy towards the unpaid care sector we'd love to hear from you.
