Director of Transformation – Leading UK Business
Opportunity: We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Transformation to drive a critical "Customer First" strategy, focusing on digital agenda delivery and operational excellence across a multi-site network with a large customer base.
The Role: Lead the definition, execution, and overall transformation strategy for the business. This involves spearheading digital innovation, with a strong emphasis on customer-centric platform development, automation for operational efficiencies, and robust change management across the organisation. You will also be responsible for developing a strong data strategy, including leveraging complex datasets and identifying opportunities for data monetisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of customer-facing digital products and platforms.
- Drive significant improvements in operational efficiency and productivity through automation and technology adoption.
- Manage transformation and change budgets, ensuring strong ROI on investments.
- Champion data-driven decision-making and explore new revenue streams through data and digital services.
- Foster a culture of digital innovation and collaboration.
- Lead the development of key customer-facing platforms to create a complete digital ecosystem.
- Develop and execute robust operational and cultural change management strategies.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing cross-functional transformation team.
The Ideal Candidate: You will possess extensive senior-level experience (10+ years) in a similar transformation or product leadership role within a complex, multi-site organisation. A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, customer-centric digital transformation programmes is essential. We are looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, high emotional intelligence, and a disruptive, data-driven mindset. Experience in a similarly complex, asset-intensive industry would be an advantage.
