Chief Financial Officer

Rare and exciting opportunity to join a significant private office investment fund looking to relocate and scale their long-term investment portfolio to form a new Suffolk headquarters. This established business has a multi-industrial approach across both early-stage growth and established companies with a focus on property, hospitality, and financial services. By focussing on sustainability, reputation and building relationships they are actively involved in their investments to truly understand the growth drivers and support the underlying executive leadership teams. 
 
As they look to expand, they now require a hands-on CFO to partner with the founder and leadership team to advise and influence on the current portfolio as well as future investment appraisals. The role requires a senior and technically skilled individual to coordinate strategy and planning to increase return on investment and profitability, as well as being hands on and in the detail of day-to-day financial operations, building a small transactional finance team as the business grows and implementing robust systems and processes. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Strategic financial input, planning, analysis, and relationship management.
• Financial accounting and reporting, including tax planning.
• Risk management and governance.
• Treasury and Banking including cash flow management.
• Relationship Management – with the family, overseas Group CFO, Trustees, business partners and professional advisors.
• Recruiting and managing a team to assist with the role.

We are looking for a high calibre individual, with the gravitas, interpersonal skills, and commerciality to influence and negotiate. As a small, driven and committed team aligned for growth you need to be collaborative, flexible and a clear communicator.  An individual who originally trained and qualified as an ACA/ACCA in a professional accountancy firm, before moving into a senior leadership role within a commercial entity would be preferred. 
 
Highly competitive salary package: negotiable depending on experience.
