Reporting to the business owners, this is an exciting opportunity to help guide and shape the future success of the company as it enters a period of expansion and capital investment. As Group Finance Director you will be responsible for the financial management of these projects whilst overseeing the day-to-day financial management of the business.
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced senior financial professional (Group Accountant/Finance Director/Senior Financial Controller) who has operated at Board level in a similar role, with a proven track record of providing strategic and commercial financial advice to shareholders and management whilst also being hands on in the detail to ensure strict financial control. Professionally qualified (ACA,ACCA,CIMA), you will be a confident and credible leader, skilled at stakeholder management and have an empathy for working with growing privately owned businesses.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leading the finance team to produce timely monthly management accounts, stock and sales analysis reports
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cash flow management
- External reporting
- Payroll and pensions
- Liaise with external advisors (audit, bank)
- Continuous improvement of processes and systems
- Development of the finance teams skills and ambitions
