Chief Executive Officer

The company are looking to attract a highly experienced, collaborative and commercially focused CEO with the leadership skills, energy and vision to drive profitable growth and greater shareholder value.

This well-established, award winning business has international reach with sites in North Essex and Suffolk. It has a reputation built on quality and excellent customer service, a strong balance sheet and the appetite to seek new growth opportunities within their target markets.

Reporting to the Non-Executive Chairman, the role will lead and collaborate with the Executive and Senior Leadership Team to develop and deliver strategic planning, drive profitable growth, operational excellence, new product innovation and employee engagement. You will work closely with Directors on the following activities:

• Commercial – including sales, marketing, pricing, labour costs
• Purchasing – ensuring a reliable, cost effective and robust supply chain
• Production – driving manufacturing efficiencies and continuous improvement
• Product Development – focus and investment into new product innovation and routes to market
• Finance - ensuring the business delivers against budget and profit forecasts

Aligned to the culture, values and ambitions of the Group, the role requires an individual with a background of driving profitable growth, performance and increased productivity within a quality focused manufacturing/mechanical engineering environment. Previous experience as a Managing Director or Chief Executive Officer is essential, and you will have a commercial mindset with strong financial management skills. Personality traits to include a blend of professionalism, high emotional intelligence, authenticity and a passion for developing people.
