Pure Executive are delighted to be working exclusively in partnership with Norse Group to appoint an exceptional newly created role Group Commercial and Strategic Development Director who will be responsible for the performance, strategy and alignment of the Business Development and Marketing functions.

In order to achieve this we are seeking a Strategic Development Director. They will be responsible for helping us establish and develop strategic relationships with potential customers, leading to a pipeline of future work.”  Justin Galliford, CEO.
 
You will be responsible for identifying and delivering new revenue opportunities in the market; growing revenue from the client base; creating a sustainable strategy for future growth and delivering accurate revenue projection. The successful candidate will drive performance and growth with responsibility for marketing strategy, sales plans and customer management initiatives.
 
The fundamental aim of the role is to develop long term strategic partnerships within local authority sector and to help transfer relevant business characteristics into transactional bidding work to create long term partnerships with wider customer base.
 
The successful candidate will have the following skills and characteristics

  • Proven track record in a similar senior commercial role where you have owned the revenue strategy.
  • Proven track record developing high performing teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of cross-channel marketing.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and using data to support decisions.
  • You will be able to demonstrate where you have built pipeline business focused on long-term relationships, long-term contracts, and JVs. 
  • Ideally you will have knowledge of the facilities management sector, or experience winning contracts and bids into the public and 3rd sectors.  Candidates with knowledge of long-term contract work and JVs in relatable sectors will also be considered.   
  • You will display strong leadership, the ability to manage stakeholders, and an engaging and collaborative communication style.

In return you will receive a competitive basic salary, bonus, car allowance, 10% pension and family medical cover.  The role will be a mix of office and home working, and you will also visit other sites and customers within your working week.
