We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join either our Norwich or Cambridge team.  Our supply chain and engineering division continues to grow, as such we are looking for a consultant to recruit specialist engineering and manufacturing roles.  You will work alongside a very experienced team with strong technical knowledge, so we can consider consultants with sector experience, or those looking to specialise.  The engineering recruitment market in the East of England is buoyant, therefore, so is the billing potential for this desk.   As a specialist recruitment company, we believe in providing a supportive and empowering environment that allows you to unleash your potential. Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the specialist sector that you recruit in, including industry trends, market demands, and talent availability. 
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, ranging from small start-ups to major blue chip organisations and public sector entities. 
  • Provide high-quality recruitment services, ensuring a personalised and honest approach to deliver exceptional results. 
  • Identify and attract top-tier candidates through various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks. 
  • Conduct thorough candidate screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate their skills, qualifications, and cultural fit. 
  • Match candidates to client requirements, considering their technical expertise, experience, and career aspirations. 
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their recruitment needs, negotiate terms of engagement, and provide ongoing support throughout the hiring process. 
  • Proactively develop new business opportunities, utilising your communication skills, resilience, and competitive nature to exceed targets. 
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and market insights to provide valuable guidance and advice to clients and candidates. 
Requirements: 
  • Proven experience as a 360 recruitment consultant, ideally with either Norfolk or Cambridgeshire based relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and candidates. 
  • Resilient and competitive nature with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. 
  • Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills to secure favourable terms with clients and candidates. 
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results. 
  • Passion for business development, with a genuine interest in building long-term client relationships. 
  • Tenacity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
